Monthly Forecast for June, 2007

GENERAL
When you get out of bed on the1st, do your best to remember to take a nice, deep, long breath. Then slowly breathe out, then take another long, thoughtful, slow, deep breath. Bring the fresh air to the very depths of your lungs. Expel it completely. Breathe in again, down to your toes, and then breathe all the stale air out. Throughout the day, whenever you have a moment, stop and concentrate on your breath. Is it free and easy? Shallow? Labored? Do you hold your breath when you're stressed? Don't! This is the month to focus on expanding and contracting -- and that goes for both your lungs and your life. The 5th and 6th, you'll already be feeling the awesomely oxygenated effects of all this expansion. By the 12th, you'll discover something new about yourself (and possibly also about somebody else). The 17th and 18th, you could have to compromise in a power struggle. Take a deep breath and do it. The 21st, stay grounded (and keep breathing). The 26th, you could well discover a deep feeling you didn't know you had (is it about someone in particular?). By the 30th, it's time to check back in and make sure you're still breathing deep. If you aren't, it's time for a little self-discipline. You'll like the results!

LOVE AND RELATIONSHIP
How are you feeling, romantically on the 1st? Do you feel satisfied or frustrated? Fulfilled or a little bit empty? Do you have the sense that you can get what you want and that you want what you get, or do you feel like there's always something wrong? Well, sweetie pie, often the answers to these romantic questions lie within ourselves, rather than out there in the romantic world. Spend this month doing a little of the hard work. Ask yourself how you feel and why. Then keep asking yourself, over and over and over, until you feel like you're getting somewhere. (Here's a hint: If the answer is that it's always the other person's fault, you aren't there yet.) The 5th and 6th, you'll have an insight or two that could already be undoing some of those internal emotional knots that can be such a drag on romance. By the 12th, if you haven't discovered something new about yourself, why not enlist a little help? Sure, friends are good. A professional opinion might not be the worst option, either. And maybe you should check in on your fitness routine. After all, there's nothing that makes you feel less romantic than letting your health go to the dogs. By the 17th and 18th, you could feel like you're struggling a bit (this is always a good sign!). The 21st, if you think you're ready, why not talk to them about how you're feeling? The 26th, you could have a real connection. By the 30th, it's to turn back to all that work you've been doing with yourself. Don't be afraid to exact a little emotional self-discipline (from yourself). Then pat yourself on the back. This stuff is hard!

CAREER AND FINANCE
The 1st, you are organizing groups and grouping organizers and, in general, having a ball. In fact, you might be in charge of organizing the office kickball tournament, with the secretarial pool pitted against the big bosses' team. Or maybe you're getting some interoffice after-work cooking classes started so that the accountants can go head-to-head with the creative team on fresh linguini production. Whatever -- things are happening as the month gets started, and you're the one making them happen. The 4th, 5th and 6th are your lucky days, when things go oh-so-right and you are looking oh-so-good. By the 11th and 12th, if you're feeling a little bit bored at work, then by golly make a change. Get something interesting started. Express yourself. The 17th and 18th, you get a reminder that you need to feel like you can exercise your independence in the office or you just won't be happy. So exercise your independence, and make sure you get to the gym while you're at it. The 22nd and 23rd, do your best to connect with a coworker who can be a little difficult. By the 29th and 30th, it's time to add one more element to all your ongoing organizational activities: discipline.
